PNRR, M1C3 - INVESTMENT 3.3 Support for cultural and creative sectors for innovation and digital transition
The project will involve several ecomuseum cells that study, interpret, and narrate the theme of "crafts". These cells vary in content, management systems, structural, and exhibition characteristics: the Museum of Blacksmithing Art and Cutlery in Maniago, the Ethnographic Museum of Casa Clautana, the Museum of Culinary Art in Polcenigo, the 20th Century Crafts Collection and Villa Carnera in Sequals, and the ethnographic museum and open-air thematic itinerary in Andreis. The differentiation and territorial extension of this ecomuseum system is a strength that encourages visitors-tourists to travel and stay longer in the area, learning about and exploring the various aspects of the theme. These small museums are custodians of strong identity values, and the project will put digital technologies at the service of this reality, creating a virtual system that will overlap with the real and physical one of the ecomuseum. Project Actions:
Coordination and administrative management: Lis Aganis will ensure the coordination of project phases and the proper administrative and financial management of the interventions.
Development and planning: A method based on networking and cooperation between employees, collaborators, and partners will be used to implement methodologies, tools, and content; analysis and reformulation of new proposals or services.
Training and skills updating: To ensure project continuity and promote the employment of cultural operators, training activities will be carried out on entrepreneurship and professional development, and digitalization.
Content production: The content present in the various ecomuseum cells refers to the ethnographic field, particularly to the crafts of yesterday and today. The system requires new narrative, communication, and promotion formats; the illustrative materials will be re-edited and presented in an innovative and accessible way (text adapted in Italian and English).
Implementation of products and services:
Thematic itinerary in Andreis: "touchless" Bippo system that will transmit content related to the crafts route along the streets of the historic village of Andreis.
Willeasy VT360 (Virtual Tour Video360°) with Coperniko® technology with assistive technology, thanks to its user-friendly mode suitable for users with mobility limitations due to age or disability, allowing the tour to be enjoyed even with the sole use of the head or through Oculus (Virtual Reality headset). The tours become real virtual walks for an immersive experience accessible on the web, both on desktop and mobile, allowing users with different abilities to enter the structures while still at home, enabling them to calmly assess their movements.
360° video presenting the identified ecomuseum cells.
Video with audio, Italian Sign Language (LIS) interpreter, and subtitles. Users can scan a QR code with their phone and start playing the room captions.
Augmented reality project through the placement of markers that, when framed with a smartphone, will launch interactive content or 3D reconstructions of objects.
Development of an immersive virtual reality application for Oculus Quest 2 within the Cutlery Museum of Maniago, allowing visitors to experience interactive games inspired by the theme.
Communication: The promotion of the service will be coordinated by Lis Aganis through various communication channels. The graphic office will create materials to enhance and better communicate the project's benefits, creating eye-catching graphics targeted to the new target audiences.
The project aims to increase the number of visitors in the connected ecomuseum cells, as each intervention has been designed to functionally capture the interest of a specific target:
Young people: Augmented and virtual reality experiences, their involvement in the content creation phase (research, texts, images), and the ability to directly enter one of the local comprehensive schools with activities related to the implementation of project actions will allow for direct engagement with young people, promoting word-of-mouth among peers.
People with diverse abilities: The adopted applications and tools, including the visibility of proposals on Willeasy websites, the use of Italian and English sign language, and the involvement of the APS IoCiVado, which is carrying out a regional project on accessible tourism and maintains collaborative relationships with other regional and international accessibility organizations, will ensure greater accessibility for people with diverse cognitive, motor, cultural, and learning abilities.
Foreigners: The caption panels will be updated in English (including sign language). Despite the geographical proximity to Austria and Slovenia, local museums do not yet have this type of material necessary to open up to a foreign audience. Lis Aganis also collaborates with Friuli nel Mondo, which distributes our videos and products to the numerous Italians abroad. Finally, we will participate with a specific project, related to this one, under the "PNRR Tourism of Roots" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
